Join fellow Griffith Observatory Foundation members for the biannual cleaning of one of Griffith Observatory's most popular and sparkling exhibits: the Cosmic Connection.
Nearly 2,200 pieces of celestial jewelry form the ribbon of time that constitutes the Observatory’s Cosmic Connection exhibit.
Long-time Foundation supporter and Board President Emeritus Kara Knack collected them over decades. She generously contributed them to form the timeline, and organized both the pattern and installation of the jewelry.
The Cosmic Connection jewelry needs to be cleaned regularly, and Griffith Observatory Foundation always opens the opportunity to Foundation members first. Invitations to join will go out to Foundation members directly soon, so keep an eye on your inbox.
